This time round im really affected.
It just seems that as days go by it just starts to grow,
and its getting deeper and stronger in me.
Many times ive told myself, maybe its not meant to be,
maybe i should just it let go.
But i cant help holding on,
because it has already become something thats been in my heart for so long.
Can you do it?
Maybe the time isnt right.
Its been a long long time since i updated and so many things have happened over these few weeks! Musique pour TouJours 2008 has successfully ended, and CO camp 08 is over after our tiring week of planning. Together with these, my chapter in TJCO has also came to a closure (:
24 May 2008. Just looking at the date itself brings back so many memories. It spells all of our hard work, all our passion for music and for tjco. Although the concert might not have been our very best performance, but what i cherish even more was the effort that every single one of us put in to make this concert a success. The many practices, countless comm meetings, tired faces. But still, we made it happen.
After a year in tjco, im finally stepping down. Somehow i dont know how to fully express how much this pdp has given to me, its just, more than words.
I'll miss those times hanging out in the co room, our favourite place. I'll miss staying back in school for co practices. I'll miss playing yangqin with tjco. Throughout this entire year in tjco, my skills have really improved alot, and ive learnt many many things. But i know wherever i go, the feeling wont be the same anymore.
A place I call 'home'.
How i wish i could relive my days in TJCO. Back to those days when i just came into the orchestra, when i first stepped into the CO room. When we were still practising Takelamagan and Xiu Lv De Hong Zhong, the numerous trips to SCH for rehearsals for SYF and SYF presentation. The few seconds of anxiousness before our first scream for Gold with Honours. Stayover for Sports Carnival. CO camp 07. Practices for concert 08, all the ups and downs. Releasing all our wishes together with our balloons at Mardi Gras. Musique pour TouJours 2008. My last CO camp.

I really need to thank a wonderful bunch of people. Comm 07/08. You guys have always been there, and all of you, have made the difference in tjco. Thankyou for all the sacrifices, all the hard work youve been putting in, without any complaints. All of you have the bestest comm members i could ever ask for, always standing by me and xianhui. Really, ive learnt alot from you guys and it has been wonderful working with all of you.
Xian Hui: My beloved vice-chair, thanks for everything! You have always been there, quietly supporting the whole committee. Just wanna let you know that we couldnt have done it without you! Although we started off without knowing each other well, it has been great having the chance to work with you. Thanks for being so supportive and understanding. Xin ku ni le! (:
Hui Ru: My fellow same height comm member! Haha its really nice having you around, your virus-like laughter that never fails to make me laugh. Youve been a very conscientious and responsible treasurer and youre one of those that i can totally trust with the things that needs to be done. Thank you for being such a wonderful comm member!
Patrick: My ou xiang! Afterall im the chairman of your fan-club! Words cannot describe how great a SL you have been, and I really respect you for all the effect and patience for your section. Although some people have mistaken you for being a very quiet person, im sure our comm thinks otherwise! Thanks always being so supportive and responsible, always contributing in ways that you can. Youve always been taking initiative and i really appreciate it! All in all, youre just Mr Nice and its great having you around! (:
Liang Yu: Liangyu! We've been in the same CO for years! Whenever it comes to SYFs, concerts, we're always together, working hard for the same purpose (: Its been a memorable journey with you, regardless of CCHMSCO or TJCO. Really enjoyed times spent discussing about CO with you, spending time together in CO room. Thank you for being my first 'friend' in TJCO too! I know youve been putting alot of effort in your section, xin ku ni le! Hope we'll still have the chance to play in the same co again!
Yinglin: Its really nice to find someone in tjco who shares the same faith, hope and love (: And I love the way you play your cello! Youre one of my favourite cello players ive come across, very seh! Youve done a very great job in raising up your bunch of cello girls, well done! Thanks for all the time and effort you spent on your section, youve been a wonderful sl! Next time i think of bunny i'll think of you! Continue to jiayou okay? :D
Yun Yi: YY! Thank you for everything! You have been a wonderful support to me, and ill always remember you telling me, "Dont stressed okay?". Thanks for being such a wonderful tan bo SL, such a responsible comm member, and such a great friend! Youve always been there to help out whenever we need you, and you always make me feel very fang4 xin1 with things. Thanks and i'll really miss you! :( More otahs and lunches next time!
Rachel: Rachel! Although people have the impression that you are very fierce, i know that youre a very nice and fun person to be with! Thanks for being such a responsible member, always taking the initiative to remind me of things that i might have forgotten. Youve also contributed alot to this comm and co, so thanks for everything! Min Young: I would say youre the quietest in the comm, not patrick! Haha anyway, im really impressed by your willingness to learn, although there are many things you have to pick up. I really see your effort to do things to your very best and i appreciate it! Enjoyed the times walking with you to the bus stop/mrt (: Hope we'll still be good friends, and although you keep asking me to trust you, i still wanna say: all the best to you and LL/HH/YY/FF! Anything la! :D
Yi Heng: I just wanna apologise for almost mispronouncing your name when i released the husting results! Must be due to all the bad influence. Haha but anyway, Yi heng2! Youve been a very very responsible instrument IC, many times i dont even need to tell you what to do cos you'll always take the initiative to do things to your very best. Thank you also, for all that youve contributed to the comm! Now that youre the new woodwind SL, jiayou okay! Im sure youll do a great job! Have fun in your new comm and miss us! (:
Sing Yee: The no. 1 zi-high person! Haha. Thanks for all the crap and laughter youve brought to every single one of us! Because of you, we're so much noisier! And really, ive got to say that youve done the job of a welfare IC really well, that now, people have a different perception about welfare (: Youre another very supportive member and always taking initiative to do things. Thanks for being such a great comm member and i will miss you alot too!
I will miss all the comm meetings, all the fun and crapping. Things would be so different without you guys.

Even as one chapter closes, another opens. Khangleng, its time to move on. All the tears and joy, all the memories. Theyre all in my mind. Ive ran the race, and ive reached the finishing point.
